Boulder City Train and Kyle Canyon

We went decided to look for some adventures during the long holiday weekend.
We went and rode the Boulder City train since Lucas is currently loving Thomas the Tank Engine.

This is the family before riding the train. Lucas was excited!

We couldn't get him to stop looking at the train long enough for a picture.
Lucas by the train.
Owen must have found it soothing because he spent the whole trip like this.

Lucas loved every minute of it!

By the engine.

Then we went down to Lake Mead to feed the fish. They go crazy for bread and swim all over each other.

I was trying to take a picture of Lucas throwing bread, but he held a pose like this (pretending to throw bread) and wouldn't actually throw it until I had already taken the picture.

It's kinda gross how they swim over each other and all put their mouths above the water to get the bread. Lucas loved it.

Jared holds Owen like this and Owen loves it. He just snuggles in and cuddles and eventually falls asleep.

On Monday we went up to Mt Charleston to hike up Kyle Canyon. It was about 4 miles. Lucas did awesome. He hiked almost all the way up and a lot of the way down too.
People had walking sticks and Lucas wanted one too.

It ended up being more of a weapon.

Taking a rest (and a snack for Owen) at the top.
