Lucas and I just got back from Missouri to visit my family (pics to follow) and now we're off on our next adventure to see Jared's family in Alaska for Christmas! We're excited!
At the ward Christmas party they had a present that was just the right size for Lucas.
Hiding in the present
Lucas loves tomato soup and spaghetti sauce and pizza... pretty much anything tomato sauce based. Here he is enjoying some tomato soup. He got a hold of the can and made a ring of soup around his face.
We put up the Christmas tree,
We met James Bond. Okay, so he's made of wax, but he looked real and kinda creeped me out.
Danielle is going to be his love interest in the next movie.
We also met this guy from the Blue Man Group. Okay, so he's wax too.
We went to see the Mac King Comedy Magic Show. Lucas was dancing on the table before and he was clapping all through it....
He was even loving himself a little Danielle before the show.
By the end though, he seemed to have had a little too much fun.

He loves the kitchen. He got out the crockpot and was "walking" it around the kitchen the other day.
Lucas helped daddy with a lot of yardwork. They were out there for a few hours and Lucas was so happy the whole time, even though he isn't smiling here. It was more of a "serious business" happy.
He used the tools that daddy was done with.
He also ate some of the dirt... or a lot of it.
He was very good at digging.
He wasn't sure why I interrupted his hard work to take pictures.

We go to playgroup every week, so we decided to take Daddy to our favorite park on Saturday because it was a BEAUTIFUL day!
This is one of his first times down the slide. He doesn't know what to think, but he is doing excited hands so it can't have been all that bad.
Last night he got into the goldfish in his diaper bag and decided that they needed to be spread on the floor. 
(Notice how in the last two pictures he is holding a toothbrush. He loves that thing. It almost never leaves his hand. Don't worry I boil it often because it gets gross fast.)
In order for his outfit to be perfect, we decided to make it a family affair.

Jared finished putting up the BEST food storage shelves ever in the garage! They are so strong! I can put anything on them! Now I just need to do it.
Lucas was in severe need of a haircut. This is the hair by his ear pre-haircut.

He loves climbing. He also loves his bouncy chair now that he's pretty much outgrown it.
