Some Random Shots

I love that cell phones have cameras. Sometimes they are just more convenient to catch the "unscripted" moments of life. Here are several of those in no particular order from the last few months.

Jared was making calls for church one night and Lucas decided to color on this chair. Fortunately, it isn't the end of the world, but now he always says it's his chair and tries to not let anyone else sit in it.

Lucas sure does have great morning hair.

He said he wasn't tired.

Lucas was really sick this day and he wanted to wear Daddy's shirt to the doctor's office. I let him because he was just so sad.

Bowling, Fishing, and Sleeping

Owen thinks he can pick up his head. He can get it a lot higher than this, but his face is just so cute in this picture!

We took Lucas bowling for the free bowling day during National Bowling Week.
He liked it and when he saw the pictures he said, "Look! Throwing!" That's what he calls bowling.

Lucas's favorite part was the ball return. He would RUN back and wait for his ball. Then he would watch all the balls come back during our turns.

I won, but just barely. Lucas came in a very close third, which was impressive.

This is not from bowling, but Owen slept through the whole thing in his stroller, so here is a picture of him sleeping.

We got to go up to a private owned lake for a customer appreciation BBQ for someone that Jared works with. It was an awesome lake. I should have taken more pictures of the swings and the picnic area and the giant swing that you could swing out into the water on, but I got some good ones of Lucas.
Lucas and Jared went fishing and they caught a couple of fish. This is Lucas's first fish.

He also went swimming in the lake, which he also loved.

After swimming, they got out a train for the little kids to ride on and Lucas was thrilled. Actually, he cried for a long time because he had to change his diaper and get dressed first and he thought he was going to miss the train rides, but they went around again just for him because he wanted to SO bad. The other kids were grateful to get to go some more too!

This is some kind of equipment from the landfill near where we were at. The company that we were having the picnic with is a dumpster company and they have their own landfill. This thing was HUGE!

Owen also slept the entire time we were at the lake in his sling that Jared made for us. I need to take a picture of that and post it here because it is AWESOME. But that explains the lack of pictures of me and Owen. We didn't do anything really picture worthy :)
